Today's Saint: St. Monica was married to unfaithful and unbelieving Patricius. Monica’s son, St. Augustine, was a handful. She tried to change him to no avail. Finally, she submitted to prayer after being advised it was her only help. Augustine was baptized at age twenty-eight, and the rest is history.
