Today's Solemnity: Today’s solemnity highlights the very human role in Jesus’ birth and upbringing and calls us to embrace life in the slowly growing springtime. We are reminded to keep looking for ways God is at work in our lives.  The angel appeared to Mary and she conceived our Lord 9 months before his birth (Dec 25).
