Memorial of Sts. Martha, Mary, and Lazarus

Today's Saints: Martha is remembered as the bustling woman chided by Christ for being “anxious and worried about many things” (Lk 10:41) while her more contemplative sister, Mary, chose “the better part” (Lk 10:42). Lazarus is the brother of Mary and Martha and the one whom Jesus restored to life in the Gospel of John. His story is heard on the Fifth Sunday of Lent in Year A.
